Multan Sultans is Back in PSL 2026: Sialkot Stallionz Out

Multan Sultans have regained their place in PSL 11 as Sialkot Stallions have changed their team name to Multan Sultans. Today, on 3 March 2026, during a media talk held in Lahore, Salman Naseeb and other PSL officials were present, including Sialkot’s Hamza Majeed and Kohar Shah, who stated that they are going to lead this franchise under a strategic partnership. The PSL owner and PSL CEO Salman Naseeb said that an option was kept allowing the new team to change its name. However, now this franchise, Multan Sultans, which was previously paying annually, has increased its fee to 200 crore rupees, meaning that Multan Sultans will now deposit 200 crore rupees every year to the Pakistan Cricket Board under this agreement.

For Multan Sultans fans, this is good news that Sialkot Stallions, who recently showed significant activity in their auction and among their officials, were facing some financial issues due to which they were not able to continue in the same way with their previous owners. After new partnerships were finalized, it is now confirmed that Multan Sultans will once again be part of the Pakistan Super League 2026.

A complete official Multan Sultans schedule will also be announced. According to the tentative schedule so far, the first match of PSL 11 will be played on 26 March.
