He began his first class career as a bowler, but after showcasing strong batting abilities, he started being treated as a genuine all-rounder. Irfan Khan, a right-handed batsman, has been representing Karachi Kings in the PSL since 2023 and currently falls under the Emerging Player category. With his batting skills, he has provided strong support to Karachi’s batting lineup.
So far, he has played 22 matches in the PSL, scoring 307 runs at an average of 25. His highest score is 48, which he made off 21 balls, and he holds a strike rate of 130 on a decent number in the T20 format.
Although he hasn’t registered a fifty or century in his 20 innings so far, Irfan has often contributed valuable runs in the middle and lower order, helping his team reach strong positions in several recent games.
