There is no doubt that Shaheen Afridi is a big match bowler, and his records clearly prove that. For the past seven years, he has also been representing Pakistan at the national level, consistently delivering strong bowling performances. This is the reason he was appointed as Pakistan’s ODI captain.
When Shaheen made his PSL debut in 2018, he produced an outstanding performance in the same season by taking five wickets for just four runs against Multan Sultans, giving Lahore a one-sided advantage. Lahore Qalandars Hero
Shaheen Shah Afridi has been captaining Lahore Qalandars for the past few editions, and it’s clear that his leadership has brought a new energy to the team. Lahore Qalandars have always featured some big names, including international stars like AB de Villiers but opinions about the team’s performance used to vary.
Since Shaheen took charge, however, the side has looked much more balanced, winning three out of the last four titles and showing strong performances throughout the editions.
